Have a few too many cocktails last weekend? Feeling a little bloated or uncomfortable in your clothes? Try this immunity boosting, anti-inflammatory drink that will fill you up, flush your system and help you feel better in no time. Make a big pitcher of this, run yourself a hot bath and relax you will be feeling better in no time.

Makes a Pitcher-

1/2 Lemon thinly sliced

In a large pitcher add the lemon and cucumber, then the ice and then water. Let sit in the fridge for a few minutes before serving. Pour into a large wine glass, put your feet up and relax. Once the water is down to only 1/4 full refill with water. You can do this several times, keep in the fridge.

  3. Have you tried “sassy water?” It’s similar except you add mint leaves and some grated ginger. It’s quite delicious and refreshing.

  4. I love this!! I started it as a way to get my fiancee and I to drink more water and he was super skeptical but ended up loving it. Now he asks that I make this all the time. Making the Apple Cinnamon water next!

  5. I am going to be checking out this book. I have researched it a bit because I am vegetarian and when I buy cookbooks I find I rarely use them. It the reviews on amazon look promising!

    • Whatever you have in the house, the bigger the better :)

Don’t go buy anything special for this recipe, even a sun tea pitcher will work wonderfully!

  6. I Hate drinking water! I am starting to make changes for a healthier lifestyle. Within the last 7 years I went from a size 1 to a size 12. I am starting to change things around for myself and I know the importance of drinking lots of water, so I made this today & I Love it! Enjoying some right now!

  7. I am game to try your recipe for lemon and cucumber water, because I tried one the other day that called for 2 lemon and a half of a cucumber for 3 qts of water and that was just awful, I couldn’t make myself drink it, I tried though..lol

  8. Add Mint leaves to this drink!
if you go out and buy some fresh mint
take 2-3 leaves and put them in a small bowl with 1/2tsp water,
mash them up with a spoon (yes there will be some chunks left)
and then pour it in your pitcher a long with 4-5 whole leaves
it gives the water an awesome crisp fresh taste and its also
a quick fix for a tummy ache!
    just a suggestion!

I always give people the same 4 goals to work on:

      1. Drink a gallon of water a day.
      2. Remove all processed foods and fake sugars from your diet.
      3. Move your body more.
      4. Count your calories. Take your goal weight and add a zero to the end, that is how many calories you should have each day.

Hope to see you on facebook!

      • Oh i eat, i actually have to eat more because with hypothyroidism, if i drastically change my diet it stresses my body, if i change my diet more than 100 calories a week it panics and holds on to everything!, but simply just adding these waters to my diet has taken me down 25 lbs, i actually do not have facebook, but you are more than welcome to share my story with all of your friends and followers if you would like!

  9. Just wish to say your article is as astounding. The clarity to your publish

  10. Has anyone else had detox symptoms after drinking this? I drank it for a day and a half and then felt like I had the flu. Two days later, I had more energy than I have had in a loooong time. Flushed me out I guess.

  11. I found you through pinterest and started checking out other drink recipes, i’ve tried this one and it tastes great, I usually hate flavored water but I love this one it tastes really fresh, I’ll keep checking for more posts, keep on the good work :)

  12. Love this website. Do you think you could use bottled lemon juice instead of fresh lemon? It’s all I have on hand right now.

  13. This is delicious! Keeps me from craving the sweet tea (cut out sugar!) and unnecessary snacking. I added frozen raspberries on day two, and it is great! Day 3 of the same fruit and flavor is still going strong! I was wondering though, any suggestions for what to do with the fruits when changing pitchers/flavors? Maybe blender with ice for a smoothie?
