Grilled Avocado Sandwich- 450 calories

Oh boy, I love avocados!! They are on sale right now and I am in heaven, I won’t pay full price for any produce, so now is the time of avocado indulgence. Avocados are so good for you, they are full of fiber and potassium, they build a strong body and aid in hair and nail growth too. Makes 2 Sandwiches-

4 Slices Sourdough or Whole Wheat Bread

1/4 cup Sharp Cheddar

1 medium Avocado thinly sliced

Salt and Pepper

Hot Sauce or Salsa- optional

Place one slice of bread on a plate, layer 1/4 of the cheese, then 1/2 avocado slices, another 1/4 the cheese, add hot sauce and sprinkle on salt and pepper if desired, place second slice of bread on top. Repeat for the second sandwich.

Heat a ridged cast iron grill on medium, spray w/ cooking spray or olive oil in a Misto Can, gently move the sandwiches to the pan, cover with foil to help all the cheese melt and then place  another pan on top of the sandwiches, the heaviest one you’ve got, this will squish down the sandwiches without needing a fancy Panini Press. After a couple of minutes flip sandwiches and put the heavy pan on top again. Remove from pan, slice sandwiches in half and enjoy.

    • This is NOT a WW page, people lose up to 16 lbs a week eating my food. Choose what works best for you, but a diet that leaves you feeling deprived is no diet you should be a part of. Because feeling deprived for the rest of your life is no way to live!

  1. Hi, I found your page and I am so grateful, my weight is bad, I am 5′ 1″, and I am 214. I was thin all my life, until I had my appendix out and a full hysterectomy. I started gaining weight, and I’ve done so many DIETS, and worked out until I’m blue in the face and nothing has helped. I am going to try some of your recipes and water. I am so tired of being over weight. Lots of sights and trainers cost so much to help and doctors and etc. I don’t have that kind of money, I am barley making it pay check to pay check for 5. I just want to get to 150, I know its not the ideal weight for my height but its mine. Just to get below 200 will be awesome!
