I had the pleasure of covering this year’s Sunset Magazine’s Savor the Central Coast and I have posted many videos so far of the interviews that I got to conduct. I have not yet posted this one because… well I was saving the best for last!
Here’s the skinny (pun intended) on the drink. It was created by Head Bartender Chad Osman of Villa Creek Restaurant using Treana White Wine and Elderflower Liquor. It is a match made in heaven! I highly recommend you check out Treana’s 2009 White, a blend of 50% Marsanne, 50% Viognier, or stop by Villa Creek and ask Chad for this very special off menu cocktail.
Makes 4 drinks, because no one should ever drink alone:
8 oz Treanna White Wine- or a Marsanne + Viognier blend
4 oz St. Germain Liquor
6 oz Tonic Water- do NOT use diet!
4 Lemon Peel Twists
